Job Description

Backend Developer

As an SDN Backend Developer, you will apply your deep expertise to design, develop, automate and test NFV/SDN components/features and its associated life cycle operations across various supported virtual infrastructure manager(VIM) stacks using test-driven development approach

Resolve customer issues with a mixture of business acumen and technical competence

Familiarity with Shell scripting, Linux Commands and Linux Operating system

Experience in using & Configuring cloud infrastructure (server, network, storage) for product/app development.

Knowledge and experience in Openstack, OpenShift

Good Understanding of Telco Domain, Core & IP networks and network functions

Has exposure to Open Sources (adoption and contributions)

Experience in any one of the Cloud Native development on platforms like Openstack, Virtualization platforms like Openstack and Vmware

Actively participate in release and sprint planning sessions

Collaborate with Architects, technical leads and development teams across locations

Contribute to innovations that can be built into the product, getting exposure to NFV and NFVI from a wide variety of vendors

development experience with Java, Python

Development experience with Go Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with Web frameworks: Spring/Springboot

Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems based on Microservices architecture and API development

Experience using version control systems like Git

Experience in agile development methodology

Experience in Virtualization technologies (VMs, Containers, SDN, XNFs)

Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills

Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins, go CD, or any other equivalent tools

Has exposure to Open Sources (adoption and contributions)
