Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
2. Build server-side customer/professional onboarding portals
3. Create reliable solutions that handle massive data & high volume traffic
4. Work on the architecture design, code review, technology build, and deployment activities of web/mobile applications
5. Own the product development - architect scalable, functional, and large-scale web and mobile solutions from scratch
6. Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
7. Build means to gather interactive consumer data from multiple systems to analyze and evaluate using RESTfully abstract APIs to the UI through a Node.js/Express.js backend
8. Establish user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
9. Manage the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

Note: We're looking for a skilled back-end developer at Housy. You'll primarily work on Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and Express.js to build highly scalable products and will have in-depth knowledge of server-side algorithms and data structures.
