Baggage Screening Executive/ Fire/Rescue Operators recruitment in Kannur International Airport Ltd (KIAL) on Contract Basis
Baggage Screening Executive /17 Posts
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and having valid screener certificate from Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). If adequate numbers of candidates with BCAS certification are not available relaxation of this criteria can be considered in respect of evictee category candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Airport Security/Ex- Servicemen. Should meet the medical fitness required for the post. Relaxation for Candidates from Evictee Families: Preference will be given to such candidates who otherwise meet necessary qualification.
Maximum Age : 35 years as on 31 March 2017
Pay Scale : Rs. 20000
Fire and Rescue Operators /12 Posts
Qualification: 10th Pass + 3 years Govt. approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/ Fire/Electrical/Electronics with minimum 50% marks. OR 12th pass (regular study) with 50% marks. Preference will be given to persons who have already completed Basic Fire Service Training at any of AAI’s Fire Training Institutes. Relaxation for candidates fro m evictee category: Pass mark in the qualifying exa mination will be adequate Driving Licence (a) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence OR (b) Valid Medium Vehicle Licence issued at least one year before the date of advertisement OR (c) Valid Light Motor Vehicle Licence issued at least two years before the date of advertisement. In case of (b) and (c), on qualifying the written test, the candidates should produce a valid Heavy Driving Licence at the time of driving test. In case the candidate fails to do so then he will not be allowed to take driving test and will be disqualified from further selection process.
Maximum Age: 30 years as on 31 March 2017
Pay Scale: Rs.17500
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Interview/Written test, Skill test, Physical test and Interview as notified below for each category.
