Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) invites application for the position Project Engineer I

Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.08.2021: 2 years
Terms of Engagement & Remuneration:
Project Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of Two years which may be extended up to maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of 35,000, 40,000/- ,45,000/- and 50,000/- for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd year and 4th year of contract respectively.
Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics OR BE.B.Tech (Mechanical) First Class in the indicated qualification for General and OBC candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
Post Qualification Experience (as on 01.08.2021): Candidates should have minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the following areas:
i. Familiarity with OF cables, mounting accessories and their specifications, usage etc.
ii. Two years post qualification work experience preferably in telecom industry of which minimum 1 year of experience is in supervision of Ariel OF installation.
iii. Candidates with working knowledge of Malayalam will be preferred.
Job Description:
i. Verification of inward goods documentation, Quantity Checks of Inputs Materials, Coordinating with Kerala State Electricity Board, other Govt Institutions for Permissions. Monitoring and quality checks of Ariel / Underground Optical Fibre installation, Inspection of installation of telecom equipment, UPS, access systems, Air conditioners, etc. in Points of Presence and End offices at various Electrical substations.
ii. Usage of Project Management implementation and Inventory monitoring software for monitoring the project progress. Extensive interaction with Inspection agency of Customer during site acceptance tests across Kerala. Reporting project progress to BEL Project Management Office. Any other duties assigned from time to time
Age Limit: Upper age limit as on 01.08.2021: 28 yrs
