Job Description
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) a Navratna Company and a Premier Indian Public Limited Company in Professional Electronics requires Ex-servicemen on fixed tenure basis in executive cadre for Naval Systems SBU of Bangalore Complex as indicated below:
1. Post Name: Sr. Assistant. Engineer
2. No of Post: 20
3. Pay Scale (Rs): 30000- 3%- 120000/-
4. Period of employment: 5 years
5. Qualification:
Ex-servicemen retired/serving officers retiring shortly from Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates
5. Experience:
15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with various Electronics/ Electrical Equipments in Armed Forces(Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard) viz. Radars, Communication Radios systems, Weapon systems, Missile and Fire Control systems, Electronic Warfare systems etc. Candidate with experience in IT Hardware, networking and server/storage will be an added advantage. Work experience in BEL supplied equipment also will be given preference
6. Job Description :
i. Candidate will be responsible for installation/ Commissioning and subsequent maintenance of Coastal Surveillance Systems installed (CSS) within the same state locations. The CSS equipments will be installed in various locations and most of them will be installed in various Light House/ Coast guard premises.
ii. The CSS equipment includes surveillance Radar, Camera Systems, Communication system and other supporting Network and Power systems and necessary Server-Storage systems in Control center. The Engineer has to visit Light House/ Coast Guard locations for preventive and break down maintenance. Necessary TA/DA will be paid as per the existing rules of BEL.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit: 50 years as on 01.11.2021 (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/ OBC/PWD as per Govt. guidelines.
