Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project SRG/2021/001184 (project code M-14/0571) entitled “Single-Step Fabrication of Wafer-Scale Two-Dimensional Metal Chalcogenide Heterojunction Thin Film for High Performance Optoelectronic Devices.”, under the supervision of Dr. Monalisa Pal, Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, Uttar Pradesh, India. Duration of the project is two years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Position: Junior Research Fellow

No of Posts: 01

Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% aggregate marks and have qualified UGC/CSIR NET or GATE.

Desirable Qualifications: The candidates with strong interest and prior experience in the field of nano-materials synthesis and applications, device fabrication, optoelectronics, and polymer will be preferred.

Fellowship: As per SERB-DST norms. (INR 31000 p.m.+ HRA)

Age Limit: The upper age limit and other selection criteria for this fellowship (JRF) are as per rule of SERB-DST and government of India
