Bigdata Engineer

Job Location: Gurgaon

Introduction

Responsibilities

Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.
Ensure continual knowledge management.
Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.

Requirements

Overall Experience-

3 to 10 years

Mandatory Experience-

Hands on experience in Big data skills - Hive, Spark
Good understanding of Hadoop concepts, HDFS, YARN, Spark concepts
Working experience in building the data pipeline using Hadoop tech stack.
Hands on experience in writing Pyspark code and building ETL solutions using the same.
Hands on experience in Pandas and Numpy libraries of Python
Ability to write complex analytical SQL queries.
Ability to do performance tuning in Hive and Pyspark
Basic understanding of Unix shell scripting
Development, Unit Testing, troubleshooting and handling the critical issue in development/production.
Closely working within and across teams to collaborate and integrate for various work assignments.
Good communication skill inclusive of written and verbal.
Experience of working in Agile Team
Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Good to have CI CD exposure – Jenkins, Atlassian or any other industry tool.
