Biochemistry/Endocrinology expert / Technician recruitment in National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali,
Project title: To assess glycemic index (GI) of 17 variants of tomato ketch up, mayonnaise and dressings.
Biochemistry/Endocrinology expert/ 1Post
Required Educational Qualification: PhD degree in Life Sciences (preferable biochemistry, Pharmacology and Endocrinology) with 2 years of research experience in preclinical and clinical research. Good understanding of glucose homeostasis, glycemic index, glycemic load and other related parameters.
Key responsibilities of the selected candidate will include: Overall management of the study with proper records, as per GLP standards. To assess the glycemic index and glycemic loads of respective food products. Regular interaction with Cremica Food Industries Ltd and PGIMER faculty for recruitment of subjects, food formulation and planning of experiment. Publication of the data generated.
Age limit: 50 years(relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/women as per government of India instructions).
Emoluments: Rs. 50,000/- per month
