Job Description
There is an opening for a JRF position in the Department of Chemical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad to work on the CSIR project title “Modeling the capacity loss in lithium ion batteries under conditions of cycling”
1. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. Duration: 1 Year (Approx.)
3. Salary: Stipend will be Rs.31,000/- per month in accordance to the rules of CSIR and HRA may be considered.
4. Eligibility:
(i) Candidate should be possessing M.Tech degree/MSc with a keen interest in modeling and simulation. Candidate should be well versed in simulation tools (MATLAB, CFD etc).
(ii) Preference would be given to candidates who are NET/GATE qualified and who have chemical engineering background.
(iii) Selected candidates may be permitted to register for Ph.D. program of BITS, Pilani subject to the fulfilment of the requirements.
(iv) However, candidates from other backgrounds (Chemistry, mechanical) who have an interest in simulation work can also apply. (B.Tech with Gate qualified candidates can be considered under exceptional circumstances).
