Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani (BITS Pilani) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow/ Project Associate I 

Number of Vacancy: 1

Project Title: Organic Polymers for Photocatalytic Nitrogen Fixation

Project Tenure: 5 years

Job Description: The project will involve working in the domain between the areas of synthesis, photophysical characterization and application. Thus, the ideal candidate should be familiar with molecular synthesis, should have an interest in photochemistry, and a passion to explore state-of-the-art energy research topics

Essential Qualification: First class Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.

Fellowship:
i. As per SERB guidelines. JRF: Rs. 31000 per month, for CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) and/or GATE and/or other national level examination qualified candidates, for the first 2 years. Project Associate I: Rs. 25000 per month, for candidates who are not NET/GATE/other national level exam qualified, for the first 2 years.
ii.  Following a mandatory assessment of performance after the completion of 2 years, the fellowship amount will increase to Rs. 35000 per month and Rs. 28000 per month for the aforementioned categories, respectively.

Registration for PhD: The selected candidate will be given the opportunity of pursuing full time PhD at BITS Pilani as per the institute norms.
