BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus invites applications for the position of Nurse. The position details are as follows:
1. Post / Job Title: Nurse
2., Job Type: Regular, Full time
3. No. of Positions & Job Location: One Position in K.K. Birla Goa Campus
4., Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
a. Assisting the Medical Doctors of the Institute.
b. Providing general nursing care to patients at OPD / Day care of Medical Centre of the Institute.
c. Providing medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor.
d. Administering Intravenous Fluids and oxygen.
e Monitoring of VITALS like Pulse, Blood Pressure, Temperature, etc.
f. Nursing inventory listing and maintenance at Medical Centre.
g. Facilitating medical equipment of the Medical Centre.
h., Providing / managing the 24X7 hours Emergency (ER) Care.
i. Participation in Community health camps / Immunization programs, etc.
j. Any other responsibility assigned by the CMO from time to time
5. Qualification and Personal Profile: Fresh B.Sc. in Nursing OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with minimum 5 years of experience. Must be registered with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.
6. Desirable: Experience as a Staff Nurse in an established nursing home / hospital / medical institutions
7. Other Skill and Ability Requirements:
Should possess good communication skills to manage the patients at the OPD of Medical Centre. Should have computer proficiency for management of the hospital management software to maintain the clinical data.
8. Compensation: Suitable candidate will be placed in Level 5 with a minimum pay of Rs. 29,200/- per month plus DA and other benefits as per Institute Norms.
