Job Description

1. Post Name: Business Analyst (Innovations & Partnerships), CCSG

3. Roles and Responsibilities:

i. The Business Analyst, CCSG  will be part of the CCSG programmatic team. This position offers the opportunity of driving CDGs charter to operationalise e-governance across all ULBs of India by 2024. The role holder will work across functions of  strategy & planning; research & insights;

ii. Technology & program management with focus on innovations and partnerships; communication & outreach; partnership and program impact; towards establishing CDG as a trusted advisor for the urban transformation ecosystem. The Business Analyst shall provide technical, operational and programmatic support to CCSG Team and  CDG leadership.

iii. The Business Analyst has to manage the requirements of the program and communicate them clearly to states, stakeholders, facilitators, and team members. This role requires a candidate who is hands-on in technology, and has excellent communication and client engagement skills.

iv. The Business Analyst will support the Senior Business Analysts and Program Manager, CCSG; as well as the National Programme Head, CDG in their functions, performing a mix of technical program management tasks

4. Qualifications:

i. B.Tech/BE/MCA; Master’s/MBA preferred
ii. 3-8 years of work experience, with a track record of high achievement. 0-3 years of experience in case of exceptional candidates as a Junior Business Analyst
iii. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 
iv. Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Hindi required; additional languages will be a plus.

5. Required Skills and Experience:

i. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
ii. Demonstrated experience in requirement-gathering & elicitation from clients
iii. Demonstrated experience with documentation (User stories, BRD, FRD, Flow Diagram etc.)
iv. Excellent Business Analysis skills, with the ability to convert complex requirements into simple solutions & present the same to technical teams
v. Experience with Databases (Postgres, RDBMS, SQL) OR Microservices Architecture OR Cloud native deployments
vi. Experience of working with government clients strongly preferred - candidate must be keen to work with state governments and ULBs to apply for this role
vii,. Ability to manage customer requirement and maintain delivery standards
viii,. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
ix. Demonstrated experience using various Project Management Tools.
x. Prior exposure to the urban development sector (ideally in a central or state government project) strongly preferred.
xi. Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners and authorities at different levels with an enthusiasm for participatory governance, technology and social impact
xii. Entrepreneurial spirit, including ability to work independently and autonomously, willingness to accept responsibilities for results.
xiii. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
ix. Commitment to learning.
x. Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be agile, enthusiastic, adaptable, have willingness to learn and time-management skills
xi. Should be willing to work at the Institute on a full-time basis

7. Remuneration and Experience Certificate: At par with the industry standards, depending on experience and skills. Proof of past remuneration (last received salary/monthly contract payment) would be required. 

8. Notice Period: Notice period for termination from either side will be one month or salary in lieu of
