Business Development executives contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns. Tasks can involve:
Business Development executives contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns. Tasks can involve:
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- Maintaining and updating customer databases;
- Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
- Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies along with the Business development manager;
- Ability to effectively use different business development techniques like tele-calling, visits, online meetings, emails etc
- Use technology and presence to strengthen relationships towards collaboration with customers.
- Establish our services and branding as preferred partners within customer base.
- Own the business development activity and work independently.
- Basic Skills (Mandatory)
- 0-2 yrs Bsc / Bcom / BBA with interest in new Business development.
- Good oral and written English skills.
- Awareness of direct selling to a large customer base.
- Expertise in leveraging technology as an enabler. I.e. usage of LinkedIn, etc.
- Willingness to travel within base location.
- Good listening, presentation and analytical skills.
- Experience (Good To Have)
- Internships / workshops in business development.
- Prior experience in direct selling in other fields.
