Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary

A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The role involves lead generation, client acquisition, pitching products/services, and developing long-term business strategies. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, target-driven, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and online research.

  • Generate qualified leads through various marketing and outreach strategies.

  • Build a robust client database and maintain updated records.

B. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Approach prospective clients, schedule meetings, and conduct presentations.

  • Understand client requirements and offer customized business solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the organization.

C. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Develop effective sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to convert prospects.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and business terms to close profitable deals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.

D. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Share insights with management to help shape business strategies.

E. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal closures.

  • Submit regular reports on lead generation, sales performance, and forecasts.

  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Competencies

A. Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online lead-generation platforms.

  • Understanding of sales cycles, business proposals, and presentations.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing trends will be an added advantage.

B. Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.

  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and self-driven personality.

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain lasting business relationships.
