Purpose of the position:

  • To continuously engage with the potential partners and establish the rapport, based on which the partnerships can be formed.
Principal Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Build sector wise, organization type wise and partnership objective wise prospective partner database by
  • Attending relevant exhibitions, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Using secondary resources like web and print material.
  • Networking with industry, industry associations, NGO groups, etc.
  • Calling relevant organizations to schedule meetings to discuss business opportunities
  • Build strategic partnerships with various stakeholders such as corporate CSR willing to spend in skill development, prospective employers want to train fresh recruits or up skilling existing employees and other development sector funding opportunities.
  • Create unique value proposition for different prospective partners.
  • Prepare funding proposals, follow up, negotiate, draft contracts and sign up partners.
  • Ensure regular connect with existing partners and be a bridge between operations team and partners.
  • Ensure that existing partners deliver on commitments as per MOUs/agreements.
  • Ensure customer delight by  time bound, high quality delivery through transition team
  • Handle disputes if any with partners and resolve them to the satisfaction of the organization.
Position specifications:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Development and Relationship Management in corporate/ social sector and should have an experience of building partnerships at various levels. However, individuals with lesser experience with zeal to perform may also apply.
  • Masters or Graduate in relevant field
  • Excellent communication  and presentation skill
  • Adept in relationship building and networking
  • Ability to conceptualize business and prepare proposals
  • Adroit in stakeholder’s management
  • Must be a self-motivated  and  keen to challenges
  • Should love travelling
