Job Description – Business Development Partner


active.hub, promoted by IIM alumni, is an online marketplace for providing curated and rich extra-curricular activity experiences at home for patrons (primarily targeted at children).


Ø  Are you educated and are fluent in English?

Ø  Do you have a network within city (apartment, etc.) or outside your city who may be interested in extra-curricular activities for children or adults?

Ø  Does fun activities engage you?

Ø  Do you love organizing activities for children/adults?

“Business Development Partner” role is responsible for the growth and development of the business. It can be carried out independently from home as per the convenience of the partner. Some of the roles, responsibilities and requirements of the role are outlined below:


·         Develop Marketing Plan with guidance and assistance from active.hub

·         Identify patrons interested in extra-curricular activities and undertake sales exercise

·         Network with key decision makers in apartments and other groups/associations

·         Understand product offerings and constantly update knowledge on the same as new offerings are introduced

·         Communicate with target audience and build and develop customer relationships

·         Maintain and update the customer database regularly

·         Onboard the patron on to the program as per defined procedures and guidelines

·         Develop market understanding by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information

·         Maintain information of prospects and undertake sales campaign from time to time as per organization guidelines and budgets allocated

·         Basic knowledge of computer is needed. Some training can be provided

·         Good communication skills with fluency in English

·         Self-Motivation and Confidence are key requisites

·         Flexible work timings based on one’s convenience
