Business Development Sales
Job Description
1. Calling existing and potential customers to persuade them to purchase company products and services
2. Recording details of customers' purchase orders accurately
3. Processing all customer purchases accordingly
4. Generating promising leads for the outside sales team to pursue
5. Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services
6. Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
7. Using sales scripts proffered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer rejections
8. Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
9. Meeting or exceeding daily and monthly targets with respect to call volume and sales

1. Should have a high school diploma or GED
2. Should have a bachelor's or associate's degree (marketing, communications, business administration, or related fields is preferred)
3. Having certified sales professional (CSP) accreditation is advantageous
4. Should have proven experience working as a telesales executive
5. Should have proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
6. Should have the ability to follow scripts
7. Should have strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
8. Should have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
9. Should have effective communication skills
10. Should have exceptional customer service skills
