Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities and developing customized targeted sales strategies
2. Building business relationships with current and potential clients
3. Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions and responding to client requests for proposals
4. Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
5. Creating and maintaining a list/database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
6. Cold calling, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients, closing sales, and working with the client through the closing process
7. Designing the best negotiating strategies by considering the risks and rewards, and keeping in mind the counter-parties preferences & goals
8. Building the brand of the company in the industry, vendor, and customer community
