Job Description

About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
2. Generate leads and add new clients
3. Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
4. Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
5. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
6. Meet and exceed sales targets
7. Create a business from new and existing customer accounts
8. Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
9. Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers

Note: Preferred customer targets are housing societies (RWA), shopping malls, hospitals, corporate offices, boilers, construction companies, transporters, industries, manufacturing factories, etc.

    Other requirements

    1. Should be able to understand how to explain commercials and negotiate the deal

    2. Must have completed BBA in marketing

    3. Must have proven experience as a sales executive,

    4. Candidates with experience from industries like DG sets, lubricants/fuel industry, spare parts sales and similar will be preferred

    5. Must have completed graduation, preferably in marketing

    6. Must have proficiency in English

    7. Must have experience and working knowledge of Excel & basic CRM systems

    8. Must have a demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota

    9. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

    Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 2 to 3 Lac/annum

    Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 100 per kl of fuel sold).
