Job Description
1. Handle sales of the product on-field
2. Work on bargaining for margin with shop manager or distributer
3. Give weekly report of the sales
4. Introduce marketing and sales strategies
5. Serve customers by selling products and meet customer needs
6. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
7. Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
8. Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
9. Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature and keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis
10. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
11. Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
12. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
13. Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 750 per sales).
