About Smart Sakhi (Swagat Enterprises)

Smart Sakhi is a brand established in the market since 2018. These are a group of farmer women who came together and started Smart Sakhi to sell different products under the guidance of Usha Shedge (Chicago), Mr. Jagat Shah (Mentor on Road), and Chitra Barshikar (Pune). We have a lot of success stories behind us and now on a mission to reach the global market as well as establish a strong market in India. We have had our sales in India and the USA and continuing the journey with a strong will to reach out to many. Our new company is named Swagat Enterprises, but we work for our brand 'Smart Sakhi'.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct a market survey and work on field visits (any city in Maharashtra)
2. Increase sales and track orders
3. Brainstorm on new ideas

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 16th Nov'20 and 21st Dec'20

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Candidates must preferably be from Pune

2. Must have a master's/bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing)

3. Must have knowledge of computers (should be able to handle Excel Sheets and Google Forms)

4. Must have great communication skills (Marathi, Hindi, and English)

5. Must have the ability to work independently

6. Must be able to lead the team towards the goal

7. Must have a desire to make a change

8. Candidates having knowledge of digital marketing and export license will have an added advantage

Additional Information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (5% of sales).

Note: The time schedule for the work will be flexible and will be as per the Chicago time (CST).
