About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities in India and the US
2. Develop customized targeted sales strategies to get IT projects
3. Build business relationships with current and potential clients
4. Work on understanding client needs and offering solutions and support, answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions, and responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
5. Work on collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
6. Create informative presentations for presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
7. Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients, maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
8. Work on cold calling, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients, closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
9. Work on meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews and meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
10. Work on collaborating with the management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting, maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
