CEA is growing fast and scaling up our analytical capabilities is key to our continued success. The ideal Business Intelligence Analyst at CEA is focused on and building, maintaining and automating reports and data visualizations for CEA’s key decision makers. This person directs database administration efforts and takes ownership of maintaining company data sources. This person brings R, Python programming skills and data visualization skills together with a business first mindset to generate high impact analytical outcomes for a fast-paced clean energy company that is making the world a better place.
The CEA business intelligence analyst believes that almost everything can be automated and is willing to carry ambitious Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence projects from conception to production.
Major Responsibilities
- Define sales and operations reporting requirements
- Build, automate and maintain reports and data visualizations with Power BI and R or Python
- Take ownership of data sources and direct database administration efforts
- Seek out opportunities and build RPA systems
- Train stakeholders on how to understand reports / visualizations
- Provide support for various BiTS Initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering undergrad, ideally M.S. or Ph.D candidate
- Electrical power experience, ideally not just academic – would be great if worked for an engineering firm
- Any experience in energy storage modeling is a big plus – or grad/doctoral research in the area
- Electrical power flow experience, ideally modeling in python, SQL
- Language and visualization skills in Python, R, SQL and PowerBI
