Title : Biotechnological interventions and application of bioinformatic tools for improvement of brackishwater fish and shellfish
Qualification : Post-graduation degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Chemistry Desirable : Candidates having working experience in sample preparation for isolation and characterization of bioactivc compounds and other related techniques will be preferred

The Headquarters of the Institute is located at Chennai with an Experimental Field Station at Muttukadu, about 30 km south of Chennai. The Institute has one Research Centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal.
