Technician (Electrical) recruitment in Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants
Technician (Electrical)/03 Posts
Essential Qualification: SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Electrician or National/State trade certificate in Electrician or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the trade of Electrician.
Desirable Qualification: Working experience in operation & maintenance of office electric sub-station, switch gears, DG sets and associated Electrical installation; Fault diagnosis and rectification, Internal & External Electrification Wiring and servicing of electrical gadgets; basic knowledge in Electricity Safety Procedures, IE Rules and National Building Codes; Practical experience of running steam boiler for field distillation units/sets and related day to day plumbing jobs is desired.
Technician (Tractor Driver)/02 Posts
Essential Qualification: SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Mechanical/Automobile or National/State trade certificate in Mechanical/Automobile or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the Mechanical/Automobile with Tractor and Light Motor Vehicle Driving license.
Desirable Qualification: Certificate course in Heavy and Light Vehicle Driving from Government recognized institute.
Technician (Carpenter)/01 Post
Essential Qualification: SSC/10th standard with science subject with 55% marks plus 2 years full time ITI certificate in Carpentary or National/State Trade Certificate in Carpentry or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institute in the Carpentry trade.
Desirable Qualification: Working hands-on experience in all wooden, steel, glass, Aluminium, polishing, Repairing and maintenance of office/lab furniture, doors, windows, door closers, lock, fittings, fixtures and all others related to Carpentry works.
Age: 28 years
Technician (Library Science)/01 Post
Essential Qualification:SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State trade certificate or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the Library & Information Science.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates with higher qualification and computer knowledge will be preferred.

Pay Scale : Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs.100/- only. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWD/Abroad candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
