Qualification : PG in basic Science (Biotechnology/ Life Science/Biotechnology/Physiology/ Botany/Bio informatics) with three years bachelors degree with NET/GATE conducted by the Central Government Dept./ agencies. PG in professional Science (M.Tech Biotechnology) with 3 yrs Bachelors degree and 3 years Master Degree or 4 years bachelors degree and 3 and 2 yrs Master degree . PG in Agril Sciences (Biotechnology/Plant breeding/Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Physiology/ Bio informatics) with 04 yrs of bachelors degree and 2 yrs master degree or 3 yrs bachelors degree . Ph.D in Agril. Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Bio informatics

Salary : Rs. 25,000/- for first & second year Rs.28,000 for third year

Age : 35 yrs for men and 40 yrs for women

Field Assistant

Qualification : Matric with +2 Vocational in Agriculture related subjects OR Matric with two years experience in the relevant field. Desirable : One year field experience in rice crop.

These research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
