Qualification : Master's Degree in Agriculture/Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR Master Degree with the integrated degree of B.Tech & M.Tech (5 years)OR Master Degree in Basic Sciences (Biotechnology) with qualified NET conducted by the Central Government Dept./agencies for admission to Ph.D. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to techniques in Plant Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and preparation of scientific/technical reports/papers

About Company
Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) is one of the Institutes of the ICAR under the Division of Crop Sciences. The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
