Essentials: M. Sc. in Agriculture(Breeding/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/Plant Physiology / Bioinformatics) OR M. Tech in Biotechnology OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Life Science/ Bioinformatics/Botany with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/ Plant physiologywith NET qualification and two years of research experience. Desirable: Exposure to techniques in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant Biotechnology/Plant pathology/ Plant Physiology/ Bioinformatics especially preparation of scientific/ technical reports/ research papers.
Pay Scale: Rs. 28,000

About Company
Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) is one of the Institutes of the ICAR under the Division of Crop Sciences. The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
