Central University of Kerala is one of the 15 new Central Universities established under "The Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No.25 of 2009)", situated at Kasaragod, the northern-most district of Kerala. Central University of Kerala (CUK) has state-wide jurisdiction. The University has started functioning in a three-storeyed building at Nayanmar Moola, 5 km away from Kasaragod town. Offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations, Classrooms, Faculty Cabins, Library, Computer Centre, Council Meeting Hall, Faculty Apartment, etc.
