Assistant Librarian

Qualification : 1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently Good Academic Record with knowledge of computerization of library i.e. Under Good academic record Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination/degrees immediately preceding the Master’ Degree. 2. Qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by UGC is mandatory. However, candidates who have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Desirable : 1. PG Diploma in Library Automation/Computerization or Networking. 2. At least 3 years working experience in Library computerization digital library and/or networking. 3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with friendly user orientation.
Pay Band + Grade Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 6000
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years
Medical Officer
No. of Posts : 02 (Male-1, Female-1)
Qualification : Recognized Medical Degree (MBBS) of any University and Registered with the Indian Medical Council and completion of rotating internship.
Pay Band : Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Selection Procedure : Candidates short listed based on the initial screening of applications will be called for Written Test. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for objective Type Written Test. The written Test will be in two parts, Discipline related part and Aptitude part. Syllabus for written test of Part – I will be as per the essential qualifications mentioned against each post and mix of course curriculum with the professional knowledge for the job requirement. The medium of the Test will be in English.
