State Project Coordinator

Essential: Master’s Degree in Social Work/ Economic/ Women’s Studies/Law/ Governess/any other related field. Minimum experience of 5 years of working on women’s issues, with at least 3 years spent in managing and leading projects and teams.

Good knowledge of computer and ability to work in MS Office packages. Working knowledge of spread sheet and presentation packages.

Excellent understanding and knowledge of women’s issues and policies and programmes of the government, at the National and State level.

Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant field.Previous experience of working with Government on policy issues.Previous publications, articles and papers on the area of expertise, with particular emphasis on women.Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques as well as conducting impact assessment studies.

Age of the candidate preferably between 40 -55 years.

Salary :Rs.50,000

Specialist Gender

State Child Protection Society (SCPS)

Program Officer (Children in need of Care & Protection & Juvenile in conflict with Law)

Education Qualification and Experience: (a)Should have Master’s Degree in Communication/Child Psychology/Social Work/Mass Communication only from recognize university. (b)Should have at least 3 years experiences and knowledge of working and developing IEC material on Women & Child Protection issues including 1 year experience in facilitating trainings to NGO’s/Officials/CBO’s and involvement in designing on issues related to child protection. (c)Should have good rapport with the NGOs/training resource agencies who are working on women and child protection related issues and should have a good understanding of child rights and protection issues.(d)Should have demonstrable strong analytical skills and written and oral communication skills (ability to write and speak fluently English and telugu). (Submit copies of IEC material developed /reports/proposals written by the candidate. Home Science (Child Development) only from recognized university.(b) Should have at least 3 years’ experience and knowledge of Working on Women/Child Protection issues including 2 years of working with “Children in need of care and protection” on adoption/Foster care issues will be an added advantage.(c) Should have good rapport with the NGOs/Govt. departments who are working on women and child protection related issues and should have a good understanding of child rights and protection issues.(d) Should have good written and oral communication skills (ability to write and speak fluently English and telugu). Submit copies of the reports/Documents supporting the same.(e) Ability to work on a computer and capable in using MS- office package (MS word and Excel and also capable of using the internet).(f) Special achievements or contribution in the earlier tenure.
