CGG is conducting Online Interviews for Android – Software Developer
Looking for candidates with more than 3+ years of experience.
Qualification: B.E (comp), B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech with 60% Marks.
Job Description: We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of android devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build applications for the android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and atomization
- Advises on best practices for mobile UI design for the iOS platform.
- Quick Prototyping
Skills:
- Proficient with android programming
- Experience with Material Design, Firebase, FCM, Google Maps and Social networking APIs.
- Experience with design patterns MVP, MVVM
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with SOAP, XML, JSON RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Google/Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience Push Notifications, Background Processes, SQLite, Search, Contacts, Calendar, Sync, Security & Permissions
- Performance in-app cache, parsing & data persistence
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Published at least Two apps into Google Play Store
