JRF Photonics recruitment in Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI)
Project entitled: “Study and development of non-invasive ambulatory respiratory and cardiac monitoring system for mobile health monitoring using photonic crystal fibre,” tenable at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata.
Essential Qualification (As on 01.03.2016): M.Sc in Physics/Photonics/Laser Science/Opto-Electronics/Optics with NET qualification. Preference will be given having at least 70% marks. Or M.E/M.Tech in Optoelectronics/ photonics/Optics/Electronics and Communication. Preference will be given having at least 70% marks .

Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), one of the foremost laboratories in the family of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research was formally inaugurated on August 26, 1950 by Dr. B.C. Ray, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal in presence of eminent personalities : Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Prof. C.V. Raman, Dr. Meghnad Saha and others. Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar was then Director-General of CSIR while Dr. Atma Ram was Director of the Institute.
