Chargeman (Mechanic) recruitment in Indian navy -Western Naval Command
(a) Chargeman (Mechanic)
No. of Posts : 58 (UR-36, OBC-15, SC-05, ST-02)
Qualification : Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or institution OR Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Board.
(b) Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)
No. of Posts : 41 (UR-15, OBC-06, SC-14, ST-06)
Qualification : Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or institution. OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or Board.
Pay Band : Rs.35400-81200/-
Age: Between 18 and 25 years
Mode of Selection : (a) Scheme of Written Examination - All eligible candidates will have to appear in the written examination. (Discipline – wise, probably on same day) consisting of 100 objective type questions based on syllabus as appended below:-
i. General English
ii. Numerical Ability/ Logical Reasoning
iii. Science & Technology
v. General Knowledge
