Project Title  :  “NATIONAL GENOMICS CORE”

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  1. PhD in Genomics/Life Science subjects 2. Minimum 8 years of Post-PhD experience in genomics/Life Science research laboratory and/or industry (out of which minimum 3 years’ experience in managing genomics platforms/genomics or life science service industry)

Desirable : 1. MBA from a reputed organization 2. Experience of management and co-ordination of large multi-centre projects, liaising with international organizations 3. Experience of running independently for profit/not for profit life science ventures 4. Experience of preparing reports of projects, documents required by funders and clients, etc.

Emoluments : Rs.1,20,000/- – Rs. 1,50,000/- p.m.

Age Limit :  45 years

Project Coordinator – Administration

Qualification  :  1. Masters degree 2. Minimum 3 years’ management experience in service industry

Desirable : 1. MBA from a reputed organization 2. Experience in life science/genomics services industry 3. Experience in project-planning, oversight of time execution and delivery of service to clients.

Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- – Rs.75,000/- p.m.

Experimental Laboratory Manager

Qualification  :  1. PhD in Genomics/Life Science subjects 2. Minimum 3 years’ post-PhD experience in genomics platform technologies

Desirable : 1. Degree/diploma in business administration 2. Conversance with Quality Assurance and GLP 3. Proven track record of independent academic work and leadership 4. Two years’ experience in management of a service laboratory

Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- – Rs. 75,000/- p.m.

Age Limit: 40 years

Technical Associate (Computational)

No. of Posts  :  02

Qualifications  : 1. M. Tech/MSc or B Tech with two years’ experience or equivalent in computer science / Bioinformatics or a related discipline 2. Minimum 3 years of experience (in addition to above qualification) of working in analysis of massively parallel DNA sequencing data 3. Proficiency of working in Unix (Linux) environment

Desirable  : 1. Experience in handling of software packages, genomic databases and data analysis pipelines 2. Proficiency in programming in C/C++ or Python 3. Experience in a service laboratory

Emoluments : Rs. 40,000/- – Rs.70,000/- p.m.

Age Limit : 35 years
