CFO Scope of work DetailsAs a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to CMD Sirand assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.
Primary Responsibilities & Targets
1. Responsible for liaisoning with banks and financial institutions for arranging new loans in time and also ensuring of renewal proposal on time2. Responsible for all the banking operations including Bank Guarantees, (B.G’s) Letter of credit (LC’s) buyer’s credit and routine banking matters and ensuring timely meeting all requirements.
3. Ensuring of submission of all reports to bankers on time.
4. Negotiating with banks for interest reduction and commission on all other BG, & LC etc.,5. Scrutinizing of all banks related interest L/C BG charges etc., whether they have overcharged
if any on monthly basis and confirm to CMD Sir6. Responsible for managing and maintaining the entire accounts in compliance with accounting procedures and policies, quarterly and annual Balance Sheets, of the Company.
7. Project wise preparation of annual budgets and exercising controls and reviewing the same with the management like budget vs actual and cautioning the management regarding overspending on any particular project by preparing cash inflow vs outflow and also project profitability of separately
8. Handling all direct and indirect taxation and special audit by the Income Tax department, search and survey matters and appeals before the taxation authorities.
9. Responsible for statutory and internal audits in all companies
10. Responsible for all Statutory Compliances such as Income Tax, Sales Tax, VAT, Service Tax, PF, ESI & Professional Tax etc.,
11. Generating and preparing the analysis on the MIS reports for all site projects
12. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
13. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long term planning, the introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
14. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
15. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
16. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
17. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance as applicable to federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
18. Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives.
