Educational and other qualification:
i) At least ten years experience in the Hydrographic branch of Indian Navy in the rank of Captain
ii) Must be a corporate member of Institutions of Surveyors (India) or equivalent as accepted by Govt. of India.
iii) Experience in a riverine waterway is desirable.
