Job Description
Role Definition
- She/ he shall have basic understanding of marginalized communities and how education can be a tool of empowerment or transformation.
- She/ he will be person responsible for effective Creative skills program delivery in the Schools, achieving planned goals.
- Education: MSW, MSc psychology
- Experience: 2 years in teaching/facilitation of creativity (Art & Craft)
- Part time/ fulltime: Full time
- Reporting to: Program Coordinator
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Highly reliable and professional
- Passion for teaching
- Takes initiative
- Knowledge of fine arts or performing arts is desirable, not a must
Planning:
- Understand annual goals, and plan monthly programs in consultation with program manager
- Execute monthly/weekly/daily program plan
- Facilitate sessions as planned - activity-based, theme-based and project-based sessions
- Facilitate all sessions with a child-centric approach and allow the child to explore, experiment and experiment themselves
- Coordination with teachers and HM for classes
- Maintain good relationship with teachers and HMs.
- Willing to travel different schools in the week
- Write daily reflection and reports after the activities
- Collect data and prepare monthly report and submit to program manager
- Conduct child assessment every quarter
