Clinical Psychologist

Qualification : Masters Degree in Psychology M. Phil in Medical & Social Psychology (i) M. Phil in Medical & Social Psychology is old nomenclature for M.Phil in Clinical Psychology. At present the degree which is given by all the institutions/ universities in the field of clinical psychology across the country is M. Phil in Clinical Psychology which is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India as basis qualification for a clinical psychologist. (ii)Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is the regulatory body for M.Phil Clinical Psychology Training in our country and as per the standard of RCI M.Phil Clinical 55,224/- Females Only (Male candidates may not apply) Psychology is two year full time supervised hospital based training course. In order to function as a Clinical Psychologist one has to go through this training after which M.Phil in Clinical Psychology degree is awarded. (iii) Institutions of national importance like National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore also has M. Phil in Clinical Psychology course of similar kind and such institutions of national importance is considered at par with M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from RCI recognized Institutions.

Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from recognized University/ Board A grade certificate in Nursing from recognized institution. Should be able to speak in Hindustani fluently. DESIRABLE: 1. Certificate in Mid -wifery 2.Knowledge of Hindi

Vocational Training Instructor

Qualification : A recognized MBBS qualification 55,224/- MALE OR FEMALE included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the 3 rd Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of the Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956
