Role & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a candidate to join the Cloud Engineering team within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) group located at Nomura Services India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.
The candidate will join a team involved in the Engineering, Development & Automation within Cloud Engineering. Focus areas would be Windows Server, Core Services infrastructure and Cloud integration and automation components
This is an exciting role - the successful candidate will be working on automation, tooling, Product Engineering and reporting solutions for the platforms under the remit of Cloud Engineering with specific focus on Windows Serer & Active Directory
Be an independent contributor for engineering, developing and maintaining the relevant automation & tooling for Cloud Engineering
Key focus area would be Windows Server Engineering(Engineer, Build, test & certify), Active directory & automation
Candidate should be open to working on projects across the various platform under Cloud Engineering (Private Cloud, Windows, Unix, Public Cloud etc.). Should be open to product evaluation and validation asks
As is required, candidate should be able to pick up new skillsets with a view to enhancing existing solution as well as new developing new solutions
The candidate must be a good team player, highly articulate, and be able to work well in a high pressure and technically challenging environment.
Engineering support for the various solutions delivered

Key Skills

Subject-matter expert knowledge of Active Directory and related technologies(i.e. Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory enterprise design principles etc.)
Subject-matter expert knowledge of Windows Server technologies
Extensive experience of installing, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Windows Server(2008 upwards)
Advanced working knowledge of Networking technologies
Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop platforms.
Proficiency with PowerShell and Windows Script Host scripting technologies.
Strong oral and written communication as well as organizational skills
A good awareness of audit, compliance, change control processes and procedures
Candidates will have spent a part of their career working in a mature organization with a well-developed audit control framework. (does not necessarily need to have been in the financial sector)
Knowledge & working experience on Azure AD, Azure Active Directory Domain Services
Knowledge & experience of Cloud(AWS, AZURE etc.) is an added advantage
Demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, and on their own when required.
Good communication skills
Candidate should be able to pick up new skillsets with a view to enhancing existing solution as well as new developing new solutions
Good technical, communication and interpersonal skills are particularly important.
