Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (CMET) invites application for the position Project Assistant I
Titled: “ Design and Development of Ultrasonic Transducer probe for Medical Imaging”
1. Post Name: Project Assistant I (A)
Nature of the Post: Temporary and Project based
No. of Post: 01
Tenure of the Post: Initially for one year and may be extended upto the completion of the Project; ie. 12 th August,2024
Qualification Essential: First Class/60% marks in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable : Experience in Dicing, lapping, surface grinding, CAD drawing.
Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA.
Project Assistants –I(A): Design of mechanical test jigs and fixtures for surface grinding and polishing of samples, thickness optimization of ceramic components using grinding and lapping machine.

Qualification Essential: First Class/60% marks in Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Desirable : Experience in PCB design, micro soldering
Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA.
Project Assistants –I(B): Design of electrical test jigs and fixtures for acoustic measurements, Designing and developing electrical contacts on ceramics using vacuum deposition techniques.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on 30 th September, 2021.
