JOB DESCRIPTION: SPONSORSHIP COORDINATION EXECUTIVE
PURPOSE OF POSITION
- The Sponsorship Coordinator assists the Sports Sponsorship Department to meet the sport/event fund raising targets through the acquisition of monetary and in-kind sponsorship from the corporate sector and the maintenance and development of the sport/event existing sponsorship relationships.
- This position also assists the Sports Sponsorship Department with administration, ticketing, internal event management, corporate hospitality and partnership liaison.
NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK PERFORMED
- Support the sponsorship team to maintain and foster positive relationships with a portfolio of sporting partners by assisting in the implementation, delivery and management of partnership benefits as agreed for the portfolio of partners, including advertising, branding, entertainment,ticketing, ebuzz and newsletters in an efficient and effective manner.
- Support the Sponsorship department by maintaining filing systems and general administration.
- Developing leads with prospective and building an industry network.
- Creatively use sponsorship assets to build and demonstrate innovative marketing programs which will add genuine value to potential clients.
- Manage all contractual rights and work with sponsors to deliver their activation goals.
- Create activation proposals for sponsors that align with their strategy.
- Liaise with event organisers and other National federations to ensure implementation and application of sponsor rights.
- Promoting Thirteen 20 Sponsor Bazaar Pvt Ltd and its events as necessary and be an appropriate representative of the organization at public functions.
- Be an effective member of the Thirteen20 SponsorBazaar Pvt Ltd staff team and work effectively with organizational departments to achieve sponsorship objectives.
- Actively support the Sales, Marketing and Sponsorship Managers in integrating any new partner organisations as required into the Sales and Marketing department.
- Identification of branding and advertising opportunities.
- Identify and deliver partner commercial programmes.
- Conduct Sponsorship research.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
- The ability to work on their own initiative, effectively both as an individual and as part of a team.
- Excited by challenges and motivated to find solutions that work for all parties.
- Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint along with basic understanding of Social Media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Confidence to liaise with a wide range of internal and external partners.
