For the post of Coal Liaisoning & Purchase Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Liaisoning & dealing with Coal India & its subsidiaries for procurement of coal for sponge iron plant.

·         Documentation and administrative activities related to the purchase of non-coking coal from above-mentioned enterprises

·         Regularly meeting with government officials and intelligently interacting with them for smooth procurement of raw materials.

·         Collection of Delivery Orders from South Eastern Coalfields and dispatch to transporters

·         Staying informed about upcoming auctions of coal from various viable sources especially the ones near our plant.

·         Keeping track of prices of imported coal or non-coking coal from any other viable source for the procurement of material of the best quality at lowest rates

·         Dealing with South Eastern Railways officials during procurement of material from Rail mode. Also ensuring delivery of best quality material during delivery by Rail.

Desired Profile

• Having experience in dealing with government companies especially Coal India and its subsidiaries
• Having technical knowledge of coal and its related products
• Developing & maintaining a good relationship with third party representatives
• Good Negotiation Skills
• Smart & Presentable

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduate
• Experience : Minimum of 1 year
• Location : Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh      
• Salary: Rs. 20,000 - 25,000 per month
