About Company

Wildlife SOS primarily works on rescuing and rehabilitating captive wild animals in India and strives to provide an alternate livelihood to communities who depend on wildlife for their income. We have more than 10 wildlife rehabilitation centres in India which includes the largest sloth bear rescue centre in the world.

We successfully ended the 400 year old barbaric tradition of Dancing bears by rescuing over 600 bears and rehabilitating them at our centres. Simultaneously, we also worked with the Kalandar community who were dependent on these bears for their livelihoods by providing the men with rehabilitation packages, vocational training for the women, sponsoring their kids education and employing several of them to work with us directly.

We also work on habitat restoration, anti poaching, man animal conflict mitigation, urban wildlife rescue and several other areas
