West Bengal State Health and Family Welfare Samiti (WB Health) invites application for the position Community Health Officer
Post Name: Community Health Officers (CHO)
Place of posting: SC-Suswasthya Kendra anywhere in the State of West Bengal.
Number of vacancies: 500
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 20, 000.00 per month after posting in SC-SK In addition the CHOs will also get a maximum incentive of Rs 5000/ month as Performance Linked Incentives based on approved parameters.
Essential Qualifications: Passed GNM/ B. Sc. / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council. They must have registration certificate/ provisional certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC). The candidate should be a resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Desirable criteria: Competency in MS Office & Internet Proficiency in Bengali & local language & dialect.
Posting in any SC-SK in any district of West Bengal will be based on merit cum choice counselling after successful completion of Cetificate Programme on Community Health.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 yrs (relaxation of age as per Government norms)
