Place of posting Anywhere throughout the State in Health & Wellness Centre (Health Sub-centres only).
Salary/ remuneration Rs. 25000/- PM (fixed) + Performance Linked Incentive (Maximum upto Rs. 15000/- PM).
Age Below 45 years on the last date of submission of application for these posts. Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC, ST & OBC
The National Health Mission, Himachal Pradesh invites
application for following posts from the desirous and eligible candidates to be
engaged purely on contract basis at different Health & Wellness Centres- Health
Sub-Centres in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
Community Health Officers/ 940 Posts
Any candidate who has successfully completed Bridge Programme for Certificate in Community Health (BPCCH) Course certified by IGNOU after doing B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing. Or B.Sc Nursing/Post basic B.Sc Nursing candidates who has successfully completed the Integrated Course of Mid-Level Health Provider along with graduation (B.Sc Nursing/Post basic B.Sc in Nursing as the case may be). The candidates will have to submit certificate issued by the concerned Institution as per specimen attached (in case of Integrated Course of Mid Level Health Provider) OR the certificate of successful completion of BPCCH issued by IGNOU. Either of the certificates has to mandatorily submitted at the time of submission of application for these posts

For the effective implementation of National Health Mission in the State a separate Mission Directorate (NHM) has been created within the Directorate of Health headed by Mission Director. It has a Programme Management Unit (PMU) headed by a Deputy Director cum State Programme Officer and a Financial Management Unit (FMU) headed by Jt. Controller Finance. The Mission Directorate functions in close co-ordination with Directorate of Health and reports to the Principal Secretary (Health). The plans and budget of the vertical programmes have been integrated in the State NHM.
