Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on the preparation of notices, agenda, minutes of the company meetings
2. Provide assistance in organizing board, general, and committee meetings, work on the drafting of resolutions
3. Provide assistance in the preparation of the annual report of the company
4. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
5. Liaise with external regulators and advisors, such as lawyers and auditors, and manage matters related to insurance and property
6. Liaise with attorneys and internally with the design team and other departments for IPR matter
7. Liaise with attorneys and internally with the design/graphics team and other departments for legal & metrology matters
Note: A candidate who has cleared the professional program will be preferred.
Experience:
1. Work-related to companies act
2. Legal & metrology act compliances
3. Intellectual property rights
4. Business agreement drafting
Skills:
1. Excellent drafting skills
2. Understanding & knowledge of companies, allied acts, secretarial work
3. Good communication and inter-personnel skills
4. Ability to interpret the law
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Multi-tasking
