Eligibility criteria:
- B.Tech Chemical Engineering /Surface Coating /Oil and Polymer Technology /Paint Technology /Plastic and Polymer
- BSc in Chemistry
- Marks cutoff - throughout 70% and CGPA of 7
- Candidate should be open for posting across PAN India
Program Overview
During the training period GETs will be participating in a comprehensive development program which is designed to achieve the following objectives:
- To gain knowledge on cross-functional overview of the organization
- To develop a strong foundation in manufacturing and engineering operations
- To achieve required skills and capabilities through specific projects/ assignments with hands-on production & related operations
- Providing coaching and support to enable the candidates to make a smooth transition from the campus to the manufacturing field
- To provide qualitative and quantitative knowledge about the paints & coatings manufacturing operation in depth
- To impart deep knowledge of industrial safety and periphery of statutory norms under which the industry operates.
- To provide the basic knowledge on industrial working philosophy as well as company’s policies, guidelines and code of conduct
Program Review:
To ensure that the objectives of the program are met and the GETs are successfully groomed to take up future leadership roles within a short period of time, schedule of regular reviews have been planned as part of the program.
These reviews will involve seeking feedback from the GETs/ immediate reporting heads at the end of each key milestone during their first year of training:
- First day of joining
- After each session of the Bandhan Induction & Orientation Program at HO
- End of Induction Program at HO
- On- job training at PAN India situated manufacturing location for first 6-8 months
- After initial training period, GETs will be placed in any manufacturing unit, under supervision of Factory Manager/ Production Manager
- End of 12 months for cross functional review meeting at HO
Post Induction Placement:
At the end of the Bandhan program with completion of rigorous induction & orientation, the Graduate Engineer Trainees will placed in manufacturing sites across India for on-job training. Depending on their readiness to take up independent job role, assessment of the GETs performance will be made and based on the feedback received from their immediate reporting head and project/ assignment guides/ mentors, as well as their performance against specific tasks/ projects assigned to them, they will be finally placed under competent superiors for the actual delivery of assigned responsibilities. .
Career Progression, post GET Program:
GETs will be on probation for a period of twelve months. Upon successful completion, they will be confirmed in a suitable permanent role in the organization in Officer Grade I position.
