Test Associate Engineer
Eligibility:
- BE/BTech(CS/IT) from 2017/18 batches with 65% in highest degree.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and test cases based on the marketing and design requirements for new features or update existing features as appropriate.
- Validate the design and test new features, functionalities thoroughly providing thorough coverage to features testing. Do regression, performance and stability testing.
- Discover the bugs, file them using bug tracking tool, verify bugs after the fix and track the bug status. Analyze the issues discovered, narrow down the causes, provide the required information to developers, and troubleshoot the setup and environmental issues.
- Create and maintain test beds, reproduce the customer reported bugs, verify the fix and convert it to test case.
- Automate test cases using PERL/Python or Selenium or any other tool selected.
- Participate in Test Automation framework design and evaluation of new tools.
- You will report to the Test
Engineering Director at Bangalore location.
Requirements:
- Good in any programming language or scripting preferably PERL/Python
- Basic Knowledge of Software Engineering Cycle specifically Software Test Cycle.
- Basic Knowledge of Computer Networking and Network Security.
- Basic Knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL Database and framing the queries.
- Good in analytical skills with ability to analyze the problems and troubleshoot.
- Ability to think in all perspective to test the software in end users perspective with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge in Operating Systems like Linux and Windows.
