Consultant – Public Health Planning

Eligibility: Post-graduation or higher qualification in Health Administration, Public Health, Community Health, Preventive & Social Medicine, Biostatistics, Demography, Health Economics or Anthropology.  Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in Health Systems, at National or state level in Health Program Planning and Implementation, Monitoring of health services delivery or in Health Research related areas.  Established oral and written communication skills in English, in writing crisp, unambiguous technical reports. Writing samples can be submitted as annexures, in addition to the CV. Working knowledge of Hindi/ other regional languagesis also desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NHM at National or State level and those with peer-reviewed indexed publications . Willingness to travel to states/districts as and when required and an ability to multitask . Computer Skills: Proficiency in commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Ability to use internet to for desk research, literature review and accessing other relevant documents. Knowledge of statistical packages would be preferred.  Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.  Formal educational qualification, experience & age could be relaxed for exceptional candidates.

Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 90,000/- per month

Consultant - Public Health Administration

Essential:  Bachelor’s degree – MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/B.Sc. Nursing/Paramedical . Post-graduation or higher qualification in Public Health, Community Health, Preventive & Social Medicine (MPH, MD Community Medicine), Healthcare/Hospital Management At least 2 years of post PG work experience especially in core public health domains like maternal and child health/ NRHM/ NHPs/ RMNCH+A/ health planning/ Health policy and advocacy/ Public Health system strengthening or Health Care Management.  Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programs at field level; working in strengthening of state, district, block level health systems.  Competency and experience in working on NHM programs at policy level, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, public health administration, governance.  Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Vibrant, dynamic and highly motivated with a sense of initiative and ownership, and ready to take any responsibility assigned as a part of the team.  Ability to produce high quality written work, with great attention to detail, within tight deadlines.  Passionate about working on health systems issues, particularly for the poor and vulnerable population, and keen on working on policy at national level, with a problem-solving approach. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Formal Educational Qualification, Experience and Age could be relaxed for exceptional candidates.

Desirable: Candidates working for similar programs or activities either at central (or) state level shall be preferred. Research experience on relevant areas of public health . Published work in the area of health systems or public health . Candidates with prior experience on health systems strengthening at central level, state level or with technical support bodies shall be preferred.

Consultant – Community Processes

Essential:  Possess an MBBS / BDS / AYUSH with a post graduate degree or diploma in Public Health/Epidemiology/IT/Communications . Have at least 3 years post-qualification experience in implementation of health programmes, including community health . Experience in direct implementation of health service delivery programmes through government, NGOs or Regional Resource Centres.  Experience in one or all of the following: documentation, data analysis, and training.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Desirable:  Working knowledge of Hindi/other major regional language . Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.  Demonstrated experience in working with NGO led Primary Health Care/Community Health Worker programs/state level public health programmes.

Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 90,000/- per month

Age Limit: 35 years

Location: New Delhi with willingness to travel to states and districts
